This tool uses an SDS-plus bit system which means its chuck CANNOT accept standard drill or chisel bits - they must be compatible SDS (Slotted Drive Shaft or Slotted Drive System) bits. The tool library has a selection of SDS  masonry bits available to borrow. This loan includes the tool, battery, charger and one set of masonry drill bits (sizes below.)

This hammer drill can operate in two different modes. 
  1. The hammer+rotation setting is for drilling concrete, stone, brick, and masonry. 
  2. The rotation-only setting for drilling in wood, steel, and building materials.

  • 3/16 inch diameter x 6.5 inch length
  • 1/4 inch diameter x 4 inch length
  • 1/4 inch diameter x 6 inch length
  • 3/8 inch diameter x 6 inch length
